Pete Davey
Professor of Marine Mammal Behavior

Professor Davey is a prominent marine mammal trainer and the author of books on both animal training and career advice for prospective dolphin trainers. He spent nearly two decades at major aquaria including Mystic Aquarium, Shedd Aquarium, Ocean Journey and the Dolphin Conservation Center at Marineland of Florida. He has taught and developed new trainers at all skill levels and currently teaches the Behavior & Training of Marine Mammals at ABI.
