Accreditation

The review and approval processes ensure that an institution meets recognized standards. An approval agency is an independent body charged with objectively determining whether an organization meets these professional standards. Approval communicates to the public that an institution has met accepted standards and assures prospective students that the courses and programs offered are of high quality.

The Animal Behavior Institute is accredited by the International Association for Continuing Education. We are also licensed by the North Carolina State Board of Community Colleges and have formed learning partnerships with  a number of other professional organizations that are committed to lifelong learning and development. Please note that the Animal Behavior Institute is an exclusively online, non-degree granting institution and that we are not able to accept Title IV funding, e.g. Pell Grants, PLUS loans.

Better Business Bureau
The Animal Behavior Institute is also an accredited member of the Better Business Bureau, a business organization that affirms that our institution meets and abides by the Code of Business Practices. ABI enjoys an A+ rating with the bureau, the highest rating available. You can review our ratings and profile at the BBB site.
